![]() Flood lights in center glen where on all night, so it was "daylight" in our tent all night. Bath area nice, but several "mechanical" issues that should have already been addressed. Clean, roomy “tent” with comfortable bed. We wanted to stay in Teepee, but prices were ridiculous. There is no basic pricing menu for each type of accommodation, and they range greatly by type and date Difficult to maneuver and to figure out pricing. Besides pricing, the BIG negative is the website. On the negative side, during the week there is no rodeo nor is the Saloon open for socializing nor dancing. On the plus side, there was lots of fresh air. Prices for the activities are pretty steep, and most of the activities are for children. It was a nice getaway for us, and I'm glad we went, but will probably not return. The staff tried valiantly to enforce the social distancing and mask requirements, but some patrons just would not cooperate. We were there for the rodeo on Saturday night, and it was worth the admission price. Visitors should note that there are few groceries at the General Store, and the closest supermarket is 20 miles away in Lake Wales. We got takeout a couple times from the General Store, and the pasta salad there was excellent. ![]() ![]() We ate at the Smokehouse Grill one night, and the food was good, but service was slow. We enjoyed the pool as well, as the weather was cool, and not many ventured in. Instead, we took the dog for a long walk in the KICCO Management Trailhead nearby, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The archery, zipline, rock climbing and bungee jumping all sounded good, until we saw them, as they were more appropriate for 10 year olds. The other activities were a little lame for older teenagers and adults. The skeet and trap shooting was by far the favorite. They need to do a better job of insulating the rooms, especially considering the prices. We were on the first floor, and could hear every step taken by the people above us. My only complaint with the room is that the walls must be very thin. Our room was clean and well stocked, and beds were comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We witnessed them deal with some hostile guests in a very professional manner. Staff members were friendly, helpful and patient.
